Overtime All Night

Without hockey for over a week, it was incredibly difficult! Don't worry, though; I still made it to a hockey game during the weekend. I went to Buckingham on Friday night to watch the Flames play the Predators. 7-0 was a decent victory. I watched the Olympique's game against the Sea Dogs on Saturday. We won 11-3. I was tired on Sunday, so I watched the Pro Bowl.

Twelve teams competed yesterday, and I was really thrilled! I followed the Rangers' contest. They competed with the Flames. I told my father I wanted a nice game when we started watching the game. Say they succeeded in delivering. The Rangers won 5-4 in overtime. When we began to watch, New York was already leading 2-1. The Flames' goal was the first one I saw. The Flames were in power play, despite what it appeared to be at the start. It was awful! The Rangers appeared to be playing with five men on the ice. Then something unexpected happened, Calgary took the put and quickly passed the puck to Tyler Toffoli, who then scored. After that, when my father and I witnessed Jacob Trouba strike Nazem Kadri, we both yelled. It was a spectacular clean hit. Then Mika Zibanejad scored right before the second period ended. To be really honest, I ADORE this player. He is amazing and I think he is underated. He is the reason why I went to see the Canadiens against the Rangers in Montreal. He is really good. Andrew Mangiapane scored the following goal. Let's face it; it wasn't supposed to be a goal. He clearly pushed the puck with his skate; it was clear that this was no accident. But for some reason, the goal was awarded to the Flames by the official. Michael Stone scored with an incredible shot two minutes later. Following that, the Rangers really upped their game and began to play like a club that was losing. It works. Once more, Mika Zibanejad scored! I must acknowledge Filip Chytil, who I did not witness score two goals that evening. The regulation period is completed, and overtime has begun. Jacob Markstrom, the goalie for the Flames, was performing at an elite level. However, a stunning goal from Alexis Lafrenière gave the final score.

During the commercial breaks, we moved to the Canucks vs. Devils game, which also ended in overtime. It was interesting to watch how the Canucks would perform without Bruce Boudreau and Bo Horvat. The organisation didn't treat those people with respect. They weren't given the proper care. As a result, the game went into overtime as I previously mentioned, and it was wonderful to watch the Hugues brothers compete against one another. The Devils earned their victory and took it home. They make such a lovely team. Despite a few challenging years, the future currently appears promising.

Those were the only game that I watched but there were other games. The Lightning was humiliated by the Panthers! Thank you so much, Carter Verhaeghe and Matthew Tkachuk! Because he was awful, Andrei Vasilevskiy mistookly believed that he was still at the all-star game. « If you are a goaltender, TEND THE GOAL!! » The Islanders were playing.  Bo Horvat's performance against the Flyers was less impressive than we had hoped. Since he will be on this squad for eight years, I sincerely hoped that he would find his place.

The Stars and Ducks were playing each other. This game also went into overtime, but by that point, I was asleep. The last game was the Wild against the Coyotes. Unfortunately, the Coyotes won 3-2. Unfortunately, I use that word since this team does not deserve to compete in the league. Stop attempting and give it to a city that truly wants this club, perhaps like Québec, as hockey is not popular in Arizona.
